We are getting ready to go up north for a little vacation. I am looking forward to getting out of the heat. We will be staying in the Fisherman's Wharf area. I am very anxious to take the Alcatraz tour at night. I am also anxious to view the King Tut exhibit. Hopefully, I will get some interesting materials to share with my students.

Our final little trip for the summer will be to San diego where we will stay in the Gaslamp quarter. We found a beautiful hotel which is centally located. The best part about this hotel is that they serve an hour of wine tasting every evening in the lobby. You can guess where I'll be at 6:00 p.m.
